Greetings everyone! Peace be unto you! Last week was the 18th anniversary of the Million Man March: Muhammad's Economic Program To End Poverty and Want in Tuskegee, Alabama! It was a life changing experience! Now, back to the subject at hand...modesty!
How effective is it when someone explains something but isn't giving any examples on how to apply it? So! This week I want to focus on showing you all what modesty looks like. Modesty does not have to consist of covering your whole body to the point where people can only see your eyes. Modesty can be up to date, fashionable, chic and classy! Modesty is high fashion!
Many women are concerned that if they cover themselves they lose their beauty, but that is far from the truth. True beauty lies in what is unseen. It may sound cliche but it's true. In this world, too much value is placed upon on the sexual attraction of a woman. If you're a woman you will always be attractive to a man, the problem is attracting the wrong type of attention. You should want a man to respect you. You should want a man to see the true essence of you when he looks at you not your breasts, thighs and legs. This is not KFC!
The same goes for men. Sagging your pants, wearing a muscle shirt and Jordan's does not mean you have "swag". It just looks like you have no class. You don't have to dress up all the time, there's a time and a place for everything but looking presentable is a must! Both men and women should present themselves in a way that they'll be respected. Women, if you want men to stop touching you inappropriately, dress and act like you do! Men, if you don't want people to see you as a "thug" then dress and act like it!

If you look up the word Modesty you will find the word "simplicity" in its definition which means "the state, quality, or an instance of being simple." So modesty like you've stated does not have to consist of a full body suit and helmet lol modesty can be as simple as a pair of jeans and a shirt that covers your backside and chest area for women and a belt and button down shirt for men. Women shouldn't look at covering themselves as value decreasing because whenever you buy a car, the moment you begin to try to fix it up by stripping or taking out the original things In the car, the car begins to lose or it has lost its value idc how good it may look.
